SAir, Slide - Only possible at white health but can be a great way to start off a new stock. If you try to instant ground pound before the end of the slide animation you will jump and not attack, however if you do it too late it will not be a true combo. It is only possible off a far slide, and requires very specific timing.

Slide, Instant Ground Pound - This one is tricky to execute however if done correctly it is a true combo, plus you get to follow up with a NAir or Recovery depending on the health range. You are better off using NAir for damage and Uppercut for kills. Slide, SAir - I wouldn't recommend using this combo. Slide, Divekick - This combo sets up an edge guard situation. Slide, Uppercut - This is your kill combo at red health. Landing this combo consistently can get you into a higher league. This combo is essential for every player to learn. Slide, NAir - This is your damage combo which you should be using up until red health. The guide was however written with gamepad controls in mind and may not work for keyboard controls. If you have any combos which you think i may have missed let me know and i will either add them to this list or add them to the pseudo combo list in the future.įor this list i will be using Xbox notation (A = Jump, X = Light Attack, B = Heavy Attack) and inputs that will work globally between all input methods. I will most likely be doing a follow up list on 'pseudo combos' which aren't true combos but are still reliable setups for racking up damage. The combos in this list are 'true combos', meaning if they are executed correctly they are inescapable. If you are having difficulty landing combos consistently, putting more points into dex using the new relic system may help you out. Having a higher dex value can make combos easier however at values closer to 10 there are diminishing returns.

Instant airs and the changes to dex has made it so that low dex characters can perform the basic combos. There have been quite a few changes as of 1.8.6. Here is the updated combo list as of 1.9.0.
